Since I haven\u2019t identified the purpose and mission of this blog, it can easily jump from an informative travel blog to a virtual diary.<\/p>\n

I bought my blog domain 4 months ago, with the innocent intention of writing one blog post a week. After 3 months, I finally got the courage to launch it, along with my first ever article<\/a>, about one of my favorite countries in the whole wide world. After that cute success and positive response, I was super motivated, I thought to myself \u201cNow I\u2019m ready, officially a <blogger> so I\u2019ll keep at it, no worries!\u201d Unfortunately, the euphoria went away rather quickly, and my good old friends, Fear, and Doubt took its place. <\/p>\n

One of my biggest passions and hobbies is filming. In the last 2 years of travels, I took out my phone or camera in pretty much 98% of the moments I was utterly and completely in awe to try to capture it forever. Don\u2019t know why I do that. I just know that I feel that urge in my heart, to grab my camera and film film film. So I always thought that at some point in time I\u2019ll take the time necessary to edit the hours of footage I have\u2026 But it all went from exciting and extraordinary to overwhelming and confusing. \u201cWhat program should I use? I can\u2019t afford this or that. Should I do a course before? Should I stick to the mainstream way of editing? Should I buy another camera so I can get better shots?\u201d All of these questions and more bugged me pretty much every time I even tried to think about starting to edit a short video. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you gonna say? Anyways no one will watch it\u2026\u201d Doubt kept whispering annoyingly in my ear. <\/p>\n

So I just forgot about it. I just locked it in the back of my mind and hoped to never think of it again if I kept busy. <\/p>\n

But now, after quite a while of reflection, sessions of self-talk and conversations with my best friends, I realized that it\u2019s time to step out of judgment and into creation. I think it\u2019s time to start working on ignoring these questions that supposedly lead to perfectionism when in reality, they only path the way to compliance and self-pity. <\/p>\n

Teo (one of my best friends) called me the other day, to make a pact. We established that from that point on, we\u2019ll edit a vlog each Sunday, and we\u2019ll keep each other accountable. Easier said than done. First Sunday got postponed on the next Thursday, and then on the next Sunday. I wasn\u2019t really feeling it but, Saturday morning, I woke up suddenly, hit by a wave of inspiration. <\/p>\n

I sat down on my desk and I wrote this beautiful piece, which felt like it was waiting to be written, running impatient on the top of my fingers. Once it was on the notebook, I knew that this is the divine key to the door that was locked deep inside my soul. All the judgment, fears, excuses, comparisons, and doubt made room for beauty and connection. After editing this little sweet 2 minutes video I watched it all from beginning to end, and my heart was jumping up and down in pure joy and happiness. <\/p>\n

Which got me thinking, how many moments like that I lost because I was ignoring my inner creator? How many beautiful pieces would I have created by now if I wouldn\u2019t have let laziness and excuses control my life? What if everyone in the world would be in touch with their most authentic callings, and dare to pursue them, not even full time, no-no, just a few hours or minutes a week (to start with). <\/p>\n

Would the world be a better place? <\/p>\n

Personally, I don\u2019t want to ignore and postpone my dreams anymore. It\u2019s time to take responsibility and jump headfirst in the unknown. Make mistakes, fail, have no one reading my articles, have 20 views on my videos, learn, and create good or bad. Just create. And to keep reminding myself that I do it all for myself, for the experience, and for the journey, not for anyone else\u2019s approval or validation.<\/p>\n

And frankly, because I can\u2019t wait to read this a few years from now and see how much I progressed. I\u2019m done with living a life of \u201cwhat ifs\u201d and \u201cI\u2019ll start tomorrow\u201d. It\u2019s time to be in the NOW. Present in every decision to continue to build healthy habits of positivity and connection and to share my beautiful stories and experiences with the world.<\/p>\n
